Facilities – Toilets for both male/female are available. Baggage lay down area will be available.
Parking – Limited parking is available onsite although there is plenty available in the surrounding streets. Please do not park on the course there is plenty of parking spaces on local streets, Although we strongly recommended car sharing, to limit the disruption to the local community. Please try to avoid parking on the course this will help to keep you safe.
Race day information – Will be emailed to all competitors after online entries have closed. Any updates race day information will appear on this page as well as the Sport in Action home page & Social media.
Registration – Race numbers & Timing chips will be issued at race registration. registration will be open from 8:45 to 09:40
Course – The route starts at the Green Wetheral and finishes close to Wetheral Community Hall. Best described as undulating the course starts at an elevation of 193ft and as a maximum elevation of 233ft over the 2 lap 10mile course you will gain approx 389ft.
The race is ran on quiet country roads and will be a good challenge and great preparation for the many early marathons in 2021. Competitors are requested to listen carefully to marshals they are there to make sure you are on the right course and assist you to get round the course safely. Please follow the race directors instructions and be aware of the dangers of cars and cyclist.
Water Station – There will be 3 water station at approx. 2.5m, 5m and 7.5m

Risk Assessment – A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with maps of the route, the race license and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules (Licence No TBC).
Race Safety Briefing – The race briefing will take place at 09:45
This is a UKA licensed event only bone conductor head phones are allowed.
Results – The results will be available live online approx. 20mins after the start go to: http://www.timingupnorthresults.co.uk/
Prize presentation – Prizes for the 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female finishers will take place approximately 10mins after the 3rd Male or Female competitor has finished. The remaining age group prizes will be paid via BACS payment within 7 days this is to allow for any queries.
Prizes – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female. Age Groups 20 to 29, 30 to 39 etc. These prizes will be awarded as follows Male or Female age groups with 1 to 17 competitors 1st Place only, Male or Female age groups with 18 to 27 competitors 1st & 2nd place and Male or Female age groups with 28 or competitors 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes will be awarded.
Any age grouper that finishes in a overall prize position (1st, 2nd or 3rd Male or Female) will receive the overall prize. That age group prize will then roll down to the next person in that age category. The third place prize will not be less than the age group winner.
