After a successful races in 2014 & 2015, Sport in Action is pleased to host the PSUK Standard Distance Triathlon Championships for 2016 at Park Foot Camping & Caravan Park, Pooley Bridge, Ullswater, Penrith, Cumbria, CA10 2NA at 12:30 hours on Friday 8th July. The event uses the same course as the AW Jenkinson Ullswater Triathlon, being held the following day. The race will feature a 1500mtr open water swim in one of the UK’s most beautiful open water swimming arenas, Lake Ullswater. This is followed by a 40k undulating cycle ride on relatively quiet country roads via Askham, The Lowther Estate and Eamont Bridge before a final, flat multi lap & varied terrain run with stunning views of the local area. The venue is one of the largest camping and caravanning sites on the shores of Ullswater with excellent family facilities, bar, restaurant, play parks etc. For details of Park Foot follow the link below.
